Welcome to my new blog, Notes & Noodlings.
When I googled “Notes and Noodlings,” to make sure I wasn't infringing on someone else's blog, I decided I was safe. The Biloxi Public Schools are “Noodling with Notes” to four-beat rhythms with their third and fourth grade students. Another guy nicknamed "Noodle" shares his adventures cruising the Pacific for fifty years (not something my career counselor ever posed as an option for me). And of course on Instagram, you can experience vicariously someone's culinary adventures in China on “Notes & Noodles.”
I'll mostly stick with things I know better, and I hope that readers will provide responses and feedback.
And who knows, maybe I'll learn to play the guitar, sail to Hawaii, or share my favorite noodle recipe.
When my eldest daughter was seven or eight, she said to me one night as I was putting her to bed, "Mom, I just want to be remembered." Along this adventure we call life, we are fortunate to work alongside some very special people. One of them I will always remember is Ed Clark.
