“Dr. Vivian Lee presented core lessons from her book “The Long Fix” to my class of 50 part-time MBA students, most of whom are working full-time in health care. The students found her presentation and ensuing discussion fascinating with insightful commentary on the importance of leadership, not just as co producers of our own health, but as leaders in the health sector. Students also learned the importance of being able to lead change and focus on “value”. She shared specific examples of how digital health could help accelerate value in our healthcare system and mentioned that there is more consensus than many believe on this priority. There is much to be done, but the students left her session more optimistic that health care in this country will indeed improve, and that we can all be part of the solution.”
— NED RIMER, Faculty Director, Health Sector Management Program, Boston University Questrom School of Business
